 | Insert the Master Install Disk into a floppy
drive. |
| Click the mouse on the 'Start' button on the
Windows 95 Task Bar. |
| Select 'Settings', and then click the mouse on
the 'Control Panel' icon. |
| Double click the mouse on the 'Add/Remove
Programs' icon in the 'Control Panel' window.. |
| Click the mouse on the 'Install' button. |
| Click the mouse on the 'Next' button. At this
point the INSTALL.EXE file on the Master Install
Disk should be highlighted as the "Command
line for installation program". If this is
NOT the case please remove any other floppy
diskettes and/or CD disks and repeat the above
procedure. |
| Click the mouse on the 'Finish' button. |
| The INSTALL routines should now be running. The
prompts as shown during these routines are the
same as for DOS installations and you may consult
the Shop Trac users manual for additional
information. All of these prompts are self
explanatory, and should NOT pose any problems. |
| Close the 'Control Panel' window by clicking the
mouse on the 'X' in the upper right corner. |
| Double click the mouse on the 'My Computer' icon
on the desktop. |
| Double click the mouse on 'Drive C:' icon in the
'My Computer' window. |
| Double click the mouse on the 'Trac' folder icon
in the 'Drive C:' window. |
| Using the right mouse button, drag (hold button
down and move mouse) the 'Trac_95 ' icon from
this window to a blank spot on the desktop.
Release the mouse button and select 'Copy Here'
from the menu. |
| Close ALL open windows by clicking the mouse on
the 'X' in the upper right corner. |
| Using the right mouse button, click the 'Start'
button on the Task Bar and select 'Open' option
from the menu. |
| Double click the mouse on the 'Programs' icon. |
| Using the right mouse button, drag (hold button
down and move mouse) the 'Trac_95 ' icon from the
desktop to a blank space in the 'Program' window.
Release the button and select 'Copy Here' from
the menu. |
| Close all windows by clicking the mouse on the
'X' in the upper right corner.. |
