 | Insert the Master Install Disk into a floppy
drive. These instructions assume the A: drive,
and you may need to make changes if your system
is different. |
| Click the mouse on the 'File' option on the
Program Manager menu. From the 'File' menu click
the mouse on 'Run' |
| Type A:INSTALL.EXE at the 'Command Line' prompt
and then click the mouse on the 'Ok' button. |
| The INSTALL routines should now be running. The
prompts as shown during these routines are the
same as for DOS installations, and you may check
the users manual for additional information. All
of these prompts are self explanatory, and should
NOT pose any problems. |
| Some changes to your CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT
files may be required. The installation procedure
will give you the option of making these changes
for you, or indicating what changes are needed
and let you make these changes yourself. Unless
you are familiar with changing the system files,
it is advisable that you allow the installation
routine to make the changes for you. |
| From the 'File' menu click the mouse on 'New'. |
| Highlight the 'Program Group' option and then
click the mouse on the 'Ok' button. |
| Leave the 'Description' field blank, and complete
the "Group File' field with C:\TRAC\TRAC.GRP
(assuming a default installation onto C:\TRAC). |
| Double click the mouse on the 'Trac' folder icon
in the 'Drive C:' window. |
| Click the mouse on the 'Ok' button. |
| A Shop Trac program group should now be displayed
on the desktop. |
