Design
When shopping for a web site designer,
more than often the first question is "how much will this
cost". Design fees vary from a few hundred dollars for
a simple site to thousands of dollars for a complex
interactive Active Server Page (ASP) site. Every site
is different, but if you have an idea of what you would
like, we should be able to provide an accurate estimate as
to what it will cost.
Some sites that we designed (and also
host) include:
 |
Chatham Fuel Injection Service Inc:
This site would be considered complex as it includes many
interactive features including a complete online catalogue
and shopping cart. It allows several levels of
access making this site very useful to all customer
levels. Much of HTML on this site is generated on
the fly using ASP. This site also includes a secure server
for credit card processing. |
 |
Rentals in the Smokies: This is a
less complex site, but still relies heavily on ASP
content. It includes banner ad management functions,
a postcard post office, complete usage statistics, as well
as database managed linked lists. |
 |
Abide With Me: This
is an example of a site that includes a flash header, as
well as several flash generated slideshows. This
site also tracks all of its own stats using ASP code.
Several pages on this site are generated on the fly
using live data from other sites (the availability
page). By the way ... the cabin makes a wonderful
vacation destination. |
 |
Pigeon Forge Cabin Rental: This is a simple
site, that uses ASP code to manage a subscription list
used for promotional emails and newsletters. It
also has an externally driven dynamic links page for
Search Engine optimization purposes. |
 |
Smoky Mountain Getaways: This is a site almost
exclusively written in ASP code. It has 3 main
pages that translate into 15 pages using included
content. This simplifies design, makes future
changes easy, and in the case of this site would make
adding a 3rd rental would be a much simpler process.
Pages served from this site are never the same due to a
rotating photo script. This in turn helps with
Search Engine Optimization. The availability pages
on this site are generated from third party data. |
